Seva Guide4 min read · Updated 15 Jul 2026
A short seva done every day is worth more than a long one done occasionally. This is a form that fits into a working morning.
Begin with japa
One round on a Tulsi mala, before anything else in the day. Four to five minutes at an unhurried pace.
One element of shringar
Then change one thing: the vastra, or the ornament, or the fragrance. One element attended to properly is better than three done quickly.
Keep it repeatable
Build the seva around what you can do on your least convenient morning, not your best one. Anything more on a good day is a gift rather than a debt.
